The entire block (1801, 1809, 1827, 1833, 1835, 1841, 1843, 1857, 1867, & 1869 Park Road, NW as well as five carriage houses) was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 15, 1978 and is a contributing property to the Mount Pleasant Historic District.
