Finding Asian American History: Da Hsin Company

Da Hsin Company began operating at this site in the 1980s and provides Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) services in addition to selling homewares, gifts, and dry goods. The TCM counter sells processed TCM ingredients that clients boil into soup. There is also pre-made packaged TCM on the shelves, which sell for a lower price than the ingredients prescribed from the counter.
