Designed by Chloethiel Woodard Smith, this house, dubbed "the Climate Control House" for its innovative features that cooled and warmed the house naturally, was one of several houses featured in a 1952 Modern House Tour sponsored by the Sidwell Friends School. The tour touted the rich and varied palette of color, line and texture.
