Mackall Square

This Greek Revival style residence sits on a large, wooded lot in Georgetown.

This Greek Revival style residence, constructed around 1820 for Benjamin Mackall, sits on a large, wooded lot between 28th and 29th streets NW. The house has a portico with four Ionic columns and a balustrade on its primary facade (south elevation). The Mackall Family also owned the Mackall-Worthington House, just west of Wisconsin Avenue.
