This elegant residence was constructed around 1850 and is located on 31st Street NW across from Tudor Place. The house, clad in brick masonry with a Flemish bond, has a slate roof with five dormers — each capped with a triangular pediment. The front entrance has a paneled door, sidelights, and transom, and is surrounded by two Doric columns and a segmental pediment.
