Seventeenth Street Historic District

Seventeenth Street is home to multiple National Historic Landmarks.

Designated in 1968, the Seventeenth Street Historic District includes the following properties that are nationally significant, historically and architecturally:

Corcoran Gallery of Art Building (Built 1894-1897)

Pan American Union (Organization of American States—Built 1908-1910)

Van Ness House Stables (Built 1816)

Daughters of the American Revolution, Memorial Continental Hall (Built 1910)

American National Red Cross (Built 1913-1917)
